Privacy Policy
The short version
We are building a place for parents to record voice messages for their children. Trust is the entire point, so our data practices are simple and we state them plainly:
- We never sell your personal information for money.
- We never sell, rent, share, or use your voice recordings, your children's information, or anything you create in the product to advertise, or to train AI models — ours or anyone else's. Ever.
- Your recordings are yours. When the product launches, they are exported to storage you control (such as your own Google Drive) and are yours to keep even if we cease to exist.
- We collect the minimum we need to run this Site and, later, the product.
The rest of this policy explains the details.
1. Who we are
This Site is operated by Hypera Venture Inc. ("we," "us," "our"). You can reach us at kevin.robinson7@gmail.com or 1509 Avenida de Nogales, San Clemente, CA 92672.
This Site is a pre-launch marketing page and reservation/pre-order page. The full product is still in development.
2. What we collect
- Email address — if you join our mailing list, request updates, or reserve a founding place.
- Name and contact details — if you provide them.
- Payment information — if you place a founding pre-order. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number; Stripe handles that directly under its own security standards. We receive limited confirmation details (such as that a payment succeeded, and billing contact info you provide).
- Anything you send us — for example, if you email us or reply to a message.
- Standard log and device data (IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring page, timestamps).
- Cookies and similar technologies used for basic Site functionality, analytics, and — while we run ads to test this concept — advertising measurement. See Section 6.
We do not collect voice recordings, children's data, or family content through this Site. Those exist only inside the product, which has not launched. When it does, a separate in-product privacy notice will govern that data, consistent with the promises above.
3. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- send you updates, launch news, and founding-member information that you asked to receive;
- process and fulfill founding pre-orders and reservations;
- respond to you when you contact us;
- understand how the Site is used and measure the ads we run, so we can improve both;
- keep the Site secure and prevent fraud or abuse;
- comply with our legal obligations.
We do not use your information for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
4. How we share information
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Site, and only as needed:
- Stripe — to process payments. (Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.)
- our email service provider — to send the mailing list.
- Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity — to understand traffic and how people use the Site. Microsoft Clarity also records anonymized session replays (mouse movement, clicks, and scrolling) and heatmaps to help us improve usability.
- The Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel and the Reddit Pixel — to measure and improve the ads we run while we test this concept.
Under some U.S. state privacy laws (including California's), using third-party advertising or analytics cookies may be considered "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out — see Section 7.
Beyond that: we do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share your product content (recordings, children's information) for advertising or AI training. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or in connection with a business transfer — but any successor would remain bound by the core promises in "The short version" above with respect to product content.
5. Email and marketing
- We only email you if you opted in (for example, by joining the list or reserving a place).
- Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link and our physical mailing address, as required by the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act.
- If you are in a jurisdiction that requires express consent (for example, the EU/UK under GDPR, or Canada under CASL), we rely on the consent you give when you sign up, and you can withdraw it at any time.
- Unsubscribing stops marketing email; we may still send essential messages about a pre-order you placed (for example, a receipt or a change to your order).
6. Cookies and tracking
We use:
- Essential cookies needed for the Site to function.
- Analytics cookies to understand traffic and how people use the Site (e.g., Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity — Clarity also records anonymized session replays and heatmaps).
- Advertising and measurement cookies while we test this concept — the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel, the Reddit Pixel, and Google advertising/measurement tags — so we can see which ads work and reach similar people.
If you are in a region that requires it (such as the EU/UK), we present a cookie consent banner and do not set non-essential cookies until you agree. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of advertising cookies as described in Section 7. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of these rights:
- Know / access what personal information we hold about you.
- Delete your personal information.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Opt out of "sale" or "sharing" for advertising. We do not sell for money; to opt out of advertising-related "sharing," you can adjust the cookie settings on the Site, enable Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser, or email us at kevin.robinson7@gmail.com.
- Withdraw consent to marketing at any time via the unsubscribe link.
- Non-discrimination — we will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
To exercise any right, email kevin.robinson7@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity first.
8. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above — for example, mailing-list data until you unsubscribe, and pre-order records as long as needed for the order and our legal/accounting obligations — then delete or anonymize it.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, and we rely on Stripe's payment security for card data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but protecting your data — especially the sensitive content the product will hold — is a core commitment, not an afterthought.
10. Children's privacy
This Site and any account are intended for adults 18 and older. The product is designed for parents to create messages *for* their children; the account holder is the adult. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this Site. If you believe a child provided us information, contact kevin.robinson7@gmail.com and we will delete it.
11. International visitors
We operate from the United States. If you visit from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the U.S., which may have different data-protection laws than your country.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new effective date at the top and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
